The Works of Our Shepherd

Jesus ties eternal life, eternal security, to His particular atonement for His sheep. His sheep are given by the Father to the Son, the Son gives them life, the Son sustains them in that life all the way to glory and they are secure because He gave His life in their place and He took up His life again to the glory of God.
