Reject the world

Do not love the world. John wrote this letter that Christians would be able to have concrete means of self examination. We have looked at 5 assurances of our faith so far, and in our passage today we are presented with a sixth test. Do we love the world or does our love for Christ compel us to reject the system of the world.
