I and my family (wife Christine, children Bryce, Caleb, and Olivia) have been attending Fellowship Baptist Church since 2017. The Lord, having placed me in a Christian home where I could hear of the saving life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, drew me to himself during my pre-teen years and from there I was baptized at age 16. This privilege has led me on the path to grow in my understanding of who God is and what He has done. I have had opportunities previously to serve in an Inner-School Christian Fellowship group, as Sunday School Superintendent and now at FBC as Elder. God has given me the desire to serve Christ and teach others and we are very grateful to serve alongside like-minded believers in the church. I enjoy the Saturday men’s studies, especially when there’s breakfast, and the fellowship we have together. I enjoy hosting bible study at our place, spending time with family, discussing theology, and camping to name a few. I strongly believe that the visible church needs a reformation regarding Reformed theology (doctrines of grace, 5 solas) and scriptural sufficiency. One of my favourite passages is 1 Peter 5:6-11 where God works through our struggles to produce strength of character.
