We love God’s word, and we believe that teaching the Bible faithfully and accurately is one of the best ways to help believer’s grow in their relationship with the Lord. Luke 1:1-4. In various places in the New Testament we are instructed that Jesus is God, and Jesus perfectly reflects God to us. As we begin looking at Luke’s Gospel account, we do so looking to see Jesus as clearly as we can, because we are told that eternal life is found in a relationship with Him, and to have relationship we have to know Him. This is the first message in our study of the book of Luke.
Matthew 6:9-13. The Lord Jesus modeled prayer for us. Every word jam packed with meaning. But are we going to that model to learn what are prayers should look like?
Romans 3:21-27, 1 Cor. 15:1-9. The question “what is the Gospel” has a few different answers. There is the event of the Gospel and the accomplishment of the Gospel. Both are important to understand.
Matthew 15:1-20. Tradition is not always a bad thing, but sometime we like to elevate tradition to an unhealthy place of authority.
Acts 13:1-3. What is it to minister to the Lord?
1 Peter 3:15, John 10:11 Are you a believer in Jesus Christ? If so, then your life should be filled with a hope that is found no where but in Christ. Have you considered the reason you have to hope?
Matthew 28:18-20 Is our salvation all about us? Is it all about our going to heaven and our escaping hell? If so, why id Jesus leave us here on this earth? Why not take us straight to heaven?
Ephesians 2:1-10. If we examine the work of God in our salvation, we should indeed agree that God’s grace is truly amazing.
Romans 10:9-17. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ, so if men never hear, how can they ever have faith and be saved?
