Colossians 3:11-12 We revisit the topic of the “old man” and the “new man” and what this means that the Old Man is dead. How is it then, if the old man is dead that I still struggle with sin? We also examine verses 11-12 which speak of unity within the fellowship of believers and who we are as believers.
Colossians 2:13-15. What does being filled in Christ include? Life, forgiveness, removal of the record of debt, victory over spiritual rulers and authorities who oppose Christ.
Colossians 2:1-5 Why did Paul suffer? What is it that allowed him to endure the struggle and suffering that he had to go through? Paul knew that the teaching of God’s word was worth anything that he would go through. He embraced this for the good of the elect, the body of Christ.

Galatians 2:20-21. Paul explains how it is that a man is justified by faith. How does it work. I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me!. What a monumental statement. This truth kills the no-lordship gospel, it kills the Arminian gospel. It is personal, it is for a particular people that Christ gave Himself. It is Jesus Himself who dwells in us, as self is dead to the law.…
Luke 22:31-34. Peter, the leader of the disciples, after the dispute about which of them is the greatest, is addressed with the shocking words of Jesus: “Simon, Simon, Satan has demanded to have you, to sift you like wheat!” Praise God this is recorded in the Bible for us, because great hope if found in the remainder of Jesus words to Peter and ultimately to us. The devil is powerful, but the devil is God’s devil!
Luke 21:8-19 Are we in the end times? According to Jesus in Luke 21, we are in the times before the end times. A time of escalating turmoil and trouble, but not like will be seen in the time of great tribulation. That is yet to come. How are we to live during this time? As messengers of the gospel. Luke 19:1-10 Jesus enters Jericho to meet a man God has planned for a long time to save. Jesus is the seeker, and He finds all He goes looking for and saves each and every one of them. He has to be, or none would ever be saved.
