Sermons on Condemnation
Colossians 2:13-15. What does being filled in Christ include? Life, forgiveness, removal of the record of debt, victory over spiritual rulers and authorities who oppose Christ.
Galatians 3:19-22 Why, if we are saved by grace, and God had already established His promise to save the children of faith, di God then go and add the law? Surely he changed his mind, right? He decided to add the law because His plan changed, right? Paul answers in exceptionally clear terms. No! The law was never given as a means of giving life. The law has a wholly other purpose. It is to reveal and even increase transgression.
Galatians 3:10-14. Paul lays out the truth that the law of God holds no hope for the salvation of men because the only brings wrath and the curse of God. Jesus Christ however, redeemed us from the curse of the law, by becoming a curse for us!
Galatians 2:11-14 Do we look to the evidence of our lives for witness to the fact of our salvation? Well, Paul certainly did! In our passage Peter stood condemned (Paul’s word) because of his retreat from the gospel of grace. He didn’t preach another gospel. He didn’t deny the gospel in his teaching. As Jesus is led to that cross, the great multitudes of people follow Him, and the women mourn over what is happening, and Jesus instructs them to mourn rather for themselves and their children.
Romans 8:1-8. There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Salvation has definite results in the life of a believer.
Luke 23:1-12. Jesus trial by the Jew has been completed, and upon the declaration that Jesus must die, He is hauled off to the Roman governor to be put to death. Pontus Pilate examines Jesus, declaring Him to be innocent, but the Jew demand He be condemned. So Pilate passes the buck and sends Jesus to Herod to be examined.

Luke 21:25-28 Jesus is coming back! He told His disciples this truth, and He informed them in the Olivet discourse what the signs were that they should be looking for as they watch for the end of the age and the second coming of Christ.
